In this video, Pedro Nobre, President of WAS, shares his message on World Sexual Health day 2018.
“As President of the World Association for Sexual Health, I would like to welcome you all to celebrate World Sexual Health Day.
The World Association for Sexual Health is a global, international organization that represents over 100 societies at a national level of several countries across the globe, representing thousands of professionals, clinicians and researchers that work in the sexual health and sexual rights field.
Since 2010, our organization started to celebrate every year, on 4 September, World Sexual Health Day. And the idea is exactly to bring awareness of the importance of sexual health and sexual rights for all.
As you all may know, unfortunately, there are a number of places around the world in countries where sexual health and sexual rights are at risk or are in danger. So that’s why it’s so important for us and for all the community of people and professionals, to celebrate every year, on the 4th of September, sexual health and sexual rights for all. So please join us in celebrating World Sexual Health Day”.
